March Madness...Not Really

March happenings, so far...

Great day of continuing education - Michigan Association of Orthodontists annual meeting in Ann Arbor.

I attended along with Cathy, our Executive Director.  We "divided and conquered" by attending Doctor and Staff conferences.  New ideas to implement, and came away grateful for the organization in place within the Practice.

Truly, I have the most wonderful staff, and incredible patients!

I count my blessings everyday.

Military Man Jay, surprised his wife Krysti on Thursday at the office.  She was not expecting him to fly home until Friday.  Jay took Krysti out for a nice lunch.  Thank you for your service, Jay...
God Bless America, and God Bless our Troops!

Congratulations Judy- 30 years of service!

Thank you, Judy for 30 years of service!  I am so appreciative of your loyalty, commitment, faithfulness and dedication.  Your contributions through the years are beyond measurable!  Let's continue the fun for next 30 years!

Congratulations, are due to Judy on her successful renewal of SOA Certification.  SOA (Specialized Orthodontic Assistant) is the highest certification available to orthodontic staff.  Judy achieved SOA status in 2013.  SOA comes up for renewal every (3) years, and requires satisfying at least 24 credit hours of Continuing Education.  Judy successfully renewed in 2016, and now 2019.

Well done, Judy!  I am so proud of you and grateful for your contributions to the All Star Team!

February 2019 Happenings

February has been a wonderful month!

We are happy to introduce Lori, who assumed Alyssa's Patient Coordinator position.  Lori comes to our office with orthodontic experience, including familiarity with the practice management system.  She is anxious to meet all of our awesome patients, and is enjoying her new position.  Lori is very impressed with our office, and we are impressed with her!  Welcome to the All Star Team, Lori!

On Valentine's Day, we had a visit from Theo.  Little dude must have known Dr. J had a Valentine gift waiting just for him! Mom Alyssa helped Theo get a "big boy" haircut this month, and now - No more curls!  He is a full-blown toddler, and very busy!

The transition is complete with ALYSSA officially turning over her position, duties and responsibilities to LORI!
Theo was the Officiant!

Dr. Jusino surprised the All Star Team with Valentine cards containing a nice gift, chocolates and lunch at the Chinese Restaurant behind the office.  Patients who came in were treated to-
"Brace friendly Valentine cupcakes!"
At Dr. Jusino's office, we love our patients!
The All Star Team expressed their love and appreciation to Dr. J,
as well... We know the way to his heart!

Now, for some really big news -
Theo is going to be a big brother!
Congratulations James and Alyssa -
We are so happy for your little family!

Happy New Year 2019

Welcome to 2019, and our new Blog.  I had a wonderful time vacationing with my family in sunny Florida during the Christmas Season.  Spending time with our son Philip, who is now a Senior in College, and busy with school and working; was the best gift.  I hope your holidays were magical and spent with those you love.

As I reflected on the passing of 2018, it seems to me, the past year will be remembered as one of tremendous division.  I hope 2019 will bring Peace to a world in turmoil.  Who among us doesn't desire Peace?  According to Mother Teresa -

"PEACE BEGINS WITH A SMILE"

Mother Teresa also encouraged; "Let us always meet each other with a smile, for the smile is the beginning of love."

Imagine the simplicity involved for accomplishing Peace - JUST SMILE!

"Peace and war begin at home.  If we truly want peace in the world, let us begin by loving one another in our own families.  If we want to spread joy, we need for every family to have joy."
Mother Teresa

"No matter how tired you are, no matter how physically exhausting this work may be, it's beautiful to bring a smile into someone's life, to care for someone in need.  What greater joy can there be?"
Mother Teresa

One of the greatest joys of my life is the gift of your friendship and trust.  As your "Smile Engineer," I look forward to your visits, and together, we can bring PEACE to our world in 2019 - it begins with a SMILE!

Initial examinations are always complimentary, and I welcome the opportunity to evaluate your orthodontic needs, and discuss the best options for treatment.  I work with a variety of orthodontic appliances, including the Damon System(19 years now), INVISALIGN, CLEAR CORRECT, and Lingual braces (behind the teeth).  I treat people of all ages, and it's never too late to improve your smile!

To schedule a FREE examination, call the office (248) 476-3000, and one of my trusted staff will assist you.  As a patient of mine, you receive my personal care and attention at every appointment!

Smiling yours in 2019 - Dr. Thomas Jusino

Toasting in the New Year with a "Big Mug" of hope for Peace, Joy and Love
